// a man named noah
Long after God created the world, people began to do many wrong things. The earth was filled with violence and selfishness. But there was one man who was different — a man named Noah. The Bible says Noah was a righteous man who walked with God.
God spoke to Noah and told him something that had never happened before — He was going to send a great flood to cover the earth. But God had a plan to save Noah, his family, and the animals.
📖 The Story
God told Noah to build a giant boat called an ark. Noah obeyed and built it exactly as God said. Then God told Noah to bring two of every kind of animal onto the ark — one male and one female. Noah, his wife, his sons, and their wives all went aboard. Then the rain began. It rained for 40 days and 40 nights. The whole earth was covered with water. But Noah and everyone on the ark were safe. When the rain stopped, the water slowly went down. The ark came to rest on a mountain. God sent a rainbow as a promise that He would never flood the whole earth again.
// what noah did
He listened — Noah heard God's instructions and took them seriously
He obeyed — even when it seemed strange, Noah built the ark
He trusted — Noah believed God's promise even before the rain came
He cared — Noah brought the animals aboard to keep them safe
// the rainbow promise
After the flood, God made a covenant — a special promise — with Noah and all living creatures. God placed a rainbow in the sky as a sign of that promise. Every time we see a rainbow, it is a reminder of God's promise to the world.
